• Reordering shelf only works in the same task tab for now

Install and Uninstall

Just drag and drop install.py file to the Maya viewport.

You can uninstall by deleting C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\maya\modules\takTools.mod file and C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\maya\scrips\takTools folder.

Features

Shelf Button

You can add or reorder a shelf button with middle mouse button drag and drop. Because it is actually Maya Shelf.

But you have to save tools to keep shelf icons you add.

Editor

You can edit the shelves with the editor that similar to Maya’s native shelf editor.

You can set a Maya icon by double click in the Maya Resource Browser.

Preferences

You can change the default settings of the tool.
